Stress management through Cardiac Coherence.

The Cardiac Coherence technique is part of biofeedback practices.
This is one of the tools for learning to manage and regulate stress, anxiety and emotions independently, through a calming breathing technique , simple to perform, which leads to numerous benefits for physical, mental and emotional health.

Cardiac coherence is a specific state achieved by adopting voluntary breathing at a particular rhythm of 6 breaths per minute. This particular state of cardiac coherence helps to balance the autonomic nervous system and manage our emotions .

 

The benefits of Cardiac Coherence are numerous:

  • Stress and emotion management, with a noticeable reduction in anxiety thanks to the reduction of cortisol (the stress hormone)

  • Better sleep

  • Improved concentration, enhanced intellectual performance

  • Improves blood pressure

  • Regular practice of heart coherence allows one to recover from "burnout" more quickly and effectively than simple rest, which is often suggested in this case.

My role is to teach you this breathing technique, to show and explain the expected effects, and to ensure its follow-up.
